There are many variables to be taken into account before specific calculations can be made, values determined and recommendations made. These include the longitude and latitude of building, the specific location regarding adjacent buildings and land, each facade in relation to the sun’s path.
Alongside this, the design of the building must be considered. This includes the height of the windows from the ground and the technical properties of the glazed unit (ie glass type, cavity size, cavity content etc).
